An opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our client's Interiors and Construction team in New Zealand. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimating and must be based in New Zealand.

Main Duties

The main responsibilities of the role include measuring and pricing for consent and construction, obtaining supplier quotes, contract negotiations, invoice auditing, overseeing staff, programming, quality assurances, health and safety assistance, and client liaison. The successful candidate will also be involved in preparing construction schedules, project budgets, and document control.

Requirements and Skills

  • Four years' experience in Quantity Surveying
  • Disciplined, self-motivated, and customer-focused
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and delegate tasks
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and keyboard accuracy
