Role Overview
The HDD Team Leader/Foreman will be responsible for leading a small crew on various projects in Auckland related to drainage, services, and utilities. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both operational and managerial skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Operating the drill to install services safely
- Leading a small crew of operators, drillers, and labourers
- Supporting ground crew with labor tasks as needed
- Effective communication and support for the team
- Completing paperwork and routine maintenance checks
- Monthly H&S reporting
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- Class 1 full essential, WTR desirable
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Experience in Directional Drilling
- Advantageous to have experience with hydrovac truck operation in civil construction

Location and Compensation
