The Role

Mercy Hospice is currently looking for a dedicated individual to join their Honohono Tātou Katoa (HTK) team as a Kaimahi. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the HTK initiatives that aim to work closely with tangata whenua to promote compassionate communities and enhance public health palliative care approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate meetings and events.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement project plans.
  • Coordinate community-based activities and communicate with partners.
  • Develop and distribute project materials such as reports and presentations.
  • Stay updated on relevant policies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong administration skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to create engaging presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Passion for compassionate communities and public health palliative care.
