Are you passionate about wildlife conservation? Auckland Zoo is offering multiple casual positions for individuals who dream of working with some of the most beautiful animals in the world. As a Keeper on the Multi-Team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a mission to bring people together to build a future for wildlife.
About the Role
This casual role will require you to work on a variable roster system, including weekends and public holidays. To excel in this position, a high level of energy and physical fitness is essential to meet the daily challenges. If you are a flexible individual with a genuine enthusiasm for working with a range of taxa, then this role is perfect for you.
Requirements and Responsibilities
To be considered for this role, you must have relevant knowledge and/or experience of animal husbandry in a zoo or similar environment. A Certificate in Captive Wildlife Management and/or a relevant degree is preferred. Additionally, being a self-motivated team player with excellent initiative is key to success in this role. It is also essential to have a current Full New Zealand driver's license suitable for manual vehicles.
