Job Description: Payroll Administrator - Part-time

Position: Finance Administrator

Birkenhead Primary School located on Auckland's North Shore is looking for a part-time Finance Administrator to join their team. This role reports directly to the Principal and offers a starting salary of $26.45 per hour.

Location

The position is school-based on the North Shore with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Conducting fortnightly payroll runs - Managing payment processing - Data processing and bank reconciliations - Handling invoice management - Stock ordering and management

Key Experience Required

- Proficiency in Xero Accounting software - Experience with Xero Payroll - Familiarity with ASB Fastnet Business, Aimy One, and Ezypay (desirable) - Knowledge of Edpay and MOE Payroll Systems (desirable)

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will be: - A strong communicator with prior experience in finance administration - Collaborative and able to work with key stakeholders - Innovative and willing to improve processes - Well-organized with excellent time management skills - Tech-savvy with proficiency in office software and Xero
