Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Major Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil infrastructure projects, particularly those of a more complex nature. Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from tendering to delivery and closeout
  • Manage infrastructure projects with values exceeding $40 million, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a high level of safety on construction sites
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any deviations from the plan
  • Utilize project management software to track key performance indicators and project metrics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 7 years as a Project Manager
  • Experience in heavy infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
