Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Major Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil infrastructure projects, particularly those of a more complex nature. Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the complete lifecycle of projects, from tendering to delivery and closeout
- Manage infrastructure projects with values exceeding $40 million, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a high level of safety on construction sites
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any deviations from the plan
- Utilize project management software to track key performance indicators and project metrics
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 7 years as a Project Manager
- Experience in heavy infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
