Role Overview

As an intermediate-level Quantity Surveyor at Dempsey Wood, you will play a key role in providing cost management and control support for our civil projects. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the project's Cost Management Plan, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, monitoring budgets, and supporting Project Managers in managing costs and variations. With a strong pipeline of work, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of land development, infrastructure, and roading projects.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Have around 5 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor or estimating role
  • Possess experience in the civil construction industry, preferably in land development
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in QS, Civil Engineering, or similar
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and collaborate effectively within a team
