Position: Senior Estimator

As a Senior Estimator at Leighs Construction, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate cost estimates to guide project planning and execution. Collaborating across departments, you will ensure that estimates align with project needs, budgets, and deadlines. By attending meetings, assessing technical challenges, and identifying risks, you will contribute to the development of competitive bids for various commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our high-performing team.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role with a tier 1 or tier 2 commercial contractor
• Expertise in large commercial construction methodology and pricing elements
• Demonstrated ability to effectively price direct labor costs
• Proven track record of building positive relationships with key project stakeholders
• Exceptional construction cost knowledge and the ability to present competitive proposals
• Experience in analyzing tenders, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in drafting project procurement plans
