Role Summary

Additionally, the role involves aligning strength and conditioning practices across the Netball High Performance system to ensure consistent development and performance enhancement for current and future Silver Ferns athletes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in High Performance Athlete strength and conditioning programs
  • A relevant Sports Science degree, preferably at a post-graduate level
  • Strength and conditioning accreditation (ASCA, NSCA)
  • Detailed understanding of strength and conditioning principles and injury prevention in high-performance settings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and pursue continuous learning
  • Track record in developing athlete development programs
  • Experience in driving change in attitudes, behaviors, and processes
  • Passion for sports and empathy towards athletes
