Competitive Pay and Learning Opportunities

With the potential to earn between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour based on your qualifications, this job also offers the chance to gain nationally recognised qualifications while you work. You will receive a minimum of 60 guaranteed hours per fortnight with the opportunity for overtime. Additionally, you can perform up to 6 sleepover shifts per fortnight, providing you with a chance to earn extra income.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in developing independence and life skills
  • Assist with daily activities such as shopping, cleaning, and personal care
  • Engage individuals in hobbies and interests to enhance their quality of life
  • Drive company vehicles to transport individuals to community activities
  • Support emotional well-being and decision-making processes
  • Facilitate connections with family and the community
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and positive choices

Qualifications and Benefits

To qualify for this role, you will need a NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 or equivalent, or Level 3 with 3 years of relevant work experience in the health sector.
