About Us

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in East Tamaki, Auckland. This full-time position will involve driving corporate development and market expansion in finance, tourism development, and management projects. The role offers an annual salary range of $72,000 to $82,000 based on a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive business plans for finance and tourism projects
  • Scout potential investment opportunities and analyze their viability
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote tourism destinations
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with investment projects
  • Stay updated with financial and tourism regulations
  • Oversee budgeting processes and financial management
  • Promote sustainable practices in tourism development
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
  • Prepare regular reports on investment project performance
  • Identify areas for improvement in finance and tourism operations

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record in developing successful business strategies
  • Strong understanding of finance, investment principles, and tourism trends
  • Knowledge of local and international markets in finance and tourism
  • Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and ability to learn new technologies
  • Knowledge of sustainable practices in tourism
  • Eligibility to work in NZ
