Finance Business Partner Operations Full-time Job

Position Overview

A leading Australasian FMCG company with Manufacturing facilities based in South Auckland is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Operations. This role offers a great opportunity for professional growth and development, reporting directly to the Head of Finance with hybrid work from home options available.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Finance Operations for the NZ business, including Manufacturing/Production, Distribution, and Logistics.
• Partner with Managers to understand key business drivers and provide financial support for decision-making.
• Conduct cost accounting, production productivity, and operational effectiveness analysis.
• Guide and advise on best practices and optimization areas based on previous experience.
• Oversee product costing, commercial analysis for NPD, and ROI of imported products/new lines.
• Own the annual operating budget and ensure alignment with Operations on budgets, forecasts, and projects.
• Set meaningful KPIs, implement site dashboards, and contribute to monthly & annual reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing cost and operations accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG sector. Key qualifications and experience required:

• Accounting & Finance degree
• Demonstrated ability to positively impact businesses through implemented initiatives
• Confidence in presenting and analyzing financial data
• Strong collaboration skills and proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams
• New Zealand work rights
