Our Creative Industries Faculty at Diocesan School for Girls in Epsom, Auckland is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Technician to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Food Technology Technician, your primary role will be to support the Food Technology teaching staff in managing equipment and resources effectively and safely. Your responsibilities will include: - Maintaining Food Technology resources - Preparing teaching resources - Setting up materials for practical lessons and assessments - Managing equipment inventory and maintenance - Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety requirements for food handling

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have: - Proven administration and support experience - Customer service experience with a strong customer service ethic - Previous café/food industry experience with a focus on food preparation - Experience in stock orders and inventory management - NZQA Certificate in Food handling and Hygiene (desirable) - Knowledge of NZ Health & Safety standards and requirements
