About NHG Gymnastics

NHG Gymnastics is a vibrant gymnastics facility based in Auckland, New Zealand, with satellite hubs as far north as Mahurangi. The facility covers Artistic, Rhythmic, Tumbling, and Trampolining at all levels, as well as runs a recreation gymnastics program in schools and in its own centers. NHG prides itself on its diverse programs and community support initiatives, participating in competitions and development camps nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities of the General Manager

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of NHG Gymnastics, managing a team of staff, maintaining facility standards, ensuring health and safety compliance, managing budgets, and fostering relationships with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing staff to enhance customer experience
• Planning and improving facility operations
• Developing and delivering on strategic goals
• Ensuring high service levels and cost-effective operations
• Overseeing equipment usage and safety
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and agreements
• Managing budgets and forecasting expenditures
• Identifying new revenue streams and grant opportunities
• Building relationships with stakeholders
• Supporting club objectives and operations

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for the General Manager position at NHG Gymnastics should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Excellent relationship management and leadership abilities
• Experience in sports facility management or community organizations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and strategic changes
• Time management and multitasking capabilities
• Commercial acumen and financial judgment
