The Role of Glasshouse Complex Manager

As a Glasshouse Complex Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily activities in the glasshouse complex to meet production targets and maintain safe practices. Your duties will include liaising with the Glasshouse Manager, managing staff, ensuring quality standards, recording data accurately, and overseeing plant health and pest management. You will also be involved in staff training, maintenance of the complex and equipment, and implementing health and safety practices.

Requirements for Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification in horticulture or a related field, along with at least 5 years of supervisory experience in horticulture. Growsafe certification and a current forklift license are advantageous. Flexibility with working hours, good communication skills, self-motivation, and a keen willingness to learn and show initiative are also key attributes for this role.
