We specialize in delivering industry-leading expertise, innovative gaming lounge solutions, and top-notch customer service. Through our partnerships with pubs, NZCT generates funding to support various community initiatives such as grassroots sports, arts, and culture. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Auckland team to help establish new hospitality partnerships and maintain existing relationships with partner venues.

Job Description

If you excel in communication, possess strong customer service skills, and are a hard worker, this role is perfect for you. While specific technical knowledge of Class 4 gaming is teachable, a genuine passion for the hospitality sector and an understanding of how gaming rooms can enhance a venue's entertainment offerings are crucial for success.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Maintain and nurture lasting partnerships with existing NZCT hospitality partners.
  • Engage with non-NZCT venue owners to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Auckland and nationwide teams to identify and pursue new ventures.
  • Establish networks within the Auckland and nationwide hospitality and gaming sectors to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
  • Offer expert advice and support to venues to ensure operational efficiency, community contribution maximization, and compliance with Class 4 gaming regulations.
  • Work closely with team members to provide seamless and top-notch service to partner venues.
  • Maintain detailed records of engagements, insights, and issues with existing and potential venue partners.
  • Provide management with regular reports on account management and prospecting for valuable insights and support.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a results-oriented Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role.
  • Ability to deliver client-centric solutions tailored to individual needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building trust with partners.
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Understanding of and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Commitment to teamwork and personal growth.
  • Knowledge of or enthusiasm for the hospitality and gaming industries.
  • Valid New Zealand driver's license.
