Here at Peke Waihanga, a crown entity dedicated to providing world-class patient-centered care, we have a part-time vacancy for an Occupational Therapist in our Auckland Centre. This 12-month fixed-term position covers parental leave and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities and Requirements

As an Occupational Therapist with us, your role will involve critical rehabilitation interventions, including identifying functional goals, providing prosthetic rehabilitation assessments, collaborating with prosthetists/orthotists, analyzing tasks to achieve goals, offering education on techniques and equipment, addressing psychosocial issues, and conducting telehealth consultations as needed. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience, a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC), experience in rehabilitation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
