With a robust work pipeline, they are currently seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to contribute to a $50M project.

The Role

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the commercial manager and oversee various aspects of the project. Your responsibilities will include managing subcontractor contracts, cost estimating, negotiating contracts, ensuring subcontractors adhere to contractual obligations, analyzing costs and variations, conducting client meetings, and resolving issues. Additionally, you will be involved in team management and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Your Background

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying and possess over 10 years of experience working on New Zealand projects exceeding $30M with a Tier 1 or 2 main contractor. A positive attitude, strong team player mentality, and excellent relationship management skills are essential for success in this role. You should currently be employed by another main contractor and seeking career advancement opportunities with the potential to work on challenging, large-scale projects.

Remuneration

This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $170,000.
