Job Description: Site Foreman for Cladding and Facades Projects in Auckland

Overview

Lynx Recruitment has partnered with a leading subcontractor specializing in cladding and facades projects in Auckland. They are currently seeking a Site Foreman to join their team. The role offers a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 depending on the candidate's experience, with a clear path for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the Site Manager and the installation team
• Set daily and weekly work tasks in coordination with Site Managers
• Conduct daily pre-start meetings with the installation teams
• Manage the installation team's day-to-day activities
• Identify and address any potential issues or delays on site
• Ensure adherence to installation methodology and quality assurance standards
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the installation process
• Attend meetings with the Site Manager and Project Manager
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and subcontractors
• Provide progress reports to the Site Manager and Project Manager
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Assist with performance reviews of installers
• Complete cladding set out based on layouts provided

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Hands-on approach when necessary
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of facade system installation requirements
• Proven experience in managing teams
• Ability to anticipate and mitigate potential delays
• Capability to read shop drawings
• Effective planning and task allocation skills
• Full right to work in New Zealand
