Role Overview

Make Your Mark in Claims

As a Claims Examiner at AIG New Zealand, you will play a crucial role in the Property and Special Risks claims team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution while providing exceptional customer service and adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.

How You Will Create an Impact

Your key responsibilities will include managing claims handling inquiries, analyzing coverage and quantum, resolving claims efficiently, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will contribute to maintaining financial control, ensuring compliance with policies, and delivering a superior claims handling experience.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you should have experience in handling Commercial Property, Business Pack, and residential or commercial Body Corporate claims. Strong policy language skills, technical claims competence, and effective stakeholder management are essential. Additionally, good communication, time management, and teamwork skills are crucial for success in this role.
