We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead the Marine Team at PIC. This role requires someone who can provide exceptional insurance advice and solutions to clients, forge valuable relationships, and drive a high commitment to service excellence.

The Marine Manager will report to the Chief Client and Commercial Officer and must have a demonstrable track record in the Marine Insurance industry. Key responsibilities include leading the Marine team, ensuring operational performance, and implementing PIC’s strategies and key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Marine team to provide exceptional insurance advice and solutions
  • Forge valuable relationships with clients, underwriters, and agents
  • Drive a high commitment to service excellence
  • Implement PIC’s strategies and key initiatives
  • Hold primary responsibility for the overall operational performance of the department
  • Negotiate with key insurance partners and agree on contractual arrangements

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Professional qualification such as Fire & General Level 5
  • Commitment to ongoing Continual Professional Development
  • Commercially savvy individual
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Passion for the water
