QA/QC Engineer - HVAC Full-time Job

About the Role

This opportunity is with a prominent company excelling in plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulic innovation. They are currently seeking a seasoned HVAC QA/QC Engineer to manage and ensure the quality control of mechanical pipe and ductwork installations on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying compliance with specifications, such as sizing, material, access, seismic considerations, type, and labeling. Daily responsibilities will involve developing QA documents for client handover, addressing clashes or defects in pipe and ductwork through redesigns, annotating drawings for redrafting, and ensuring project areas are completed and ready for client handover. There may also be a need to support commissioning activities during the commissioning period. This is a temporary role expected to last around 12 months.

About You

If you are a proactive QA/QC Engineer with a specialization in Building Services, particularly with experience in commercial building projects, this role is for you. The position requires a hands-on approach, comfortable with both on-site and office settings. Key qualifications include strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, a relevant tertiary degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC), proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Revit, and Revizto, as well as adaptability and a willingness to learn.
