Our client, a dynamic and innovative infrastructure supplier in New Zealand, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join their growing Water team. This role will involve estimating key projects, collaborating with customers, and producing accurate and detailed tenders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win projects by understanding customer requirements
• Interpret site drawings to create material lists for quotations
• Research product and cost requirements, obtain quotes, and explore alternatives
• Collaborate with the sales team to create accurate and detailed quotes
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, customers, and suppliers
• Manage commercial contracts and supply agreements
• Monitor project costs to ensure they align with budgets
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies

Requirements

• Civil Engineering qualification or relevant project experience
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Strong customer-centric approach
• Good mathematical and reasoning skills
• Proficiency in industry-specific software tools
• Experience with ERP systems
