Responsibilities:

As the Team Leader for the Primates section, you will be responsible for managing staff, facilities, and animals. Your role will involve promoting a science-based approach to husbandry and operations, ensuring exceptional visitor experiences, and aligning activities with conservation goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess leadership and team-building skills, a relevant degree or certification in biological/conservation sciences, and a minimum of ten years' experience in a zoo or related field. An understanding of conservation, environmental issues, and a commitment to staff development are also essential.

Benefits:

The salary for this position ranges from NZD $70,125.00 to NZD $94,875.00 per annum, based on experience.
