Join the AUSA Advisory Board
The Auckland University Student’s Association (AUSA) is seeking new members for our Advisory Board to provide advice and strategic expertise to our Student Executive. This is a voluntary position with no remuneration.
About AUSA
AUSA was established in 1891 to represent and foster student communities at the University of Auckland. Our mission is to advocate for all Auckland students, promote student involvement, and provide support for student life on campus and academically.
About the Advisory Board
The Advisory Board plays a crucial strategic and governance role for AUSA, guiding the Student Executive in governing the association effectively and maximizing student engagement. The Board consists of individuals with skills and commitment to mentor the next generation of New Zealand leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Advise and support the Student Executive
- Ensure financial responsibility and sustainability
- Mentor the Student Executive
- Recommend policies for strengthening AUSA's performance
- Review agreements and oversee risk management
Requirements
No prior experience at AUSA or the University of Auckland is necessary. Ideal candidates will have experience in the tertiary education sector, financial/accounting, law/legal, human resources, or a diverse community perspective.
